Wurlitzer 625 & 625T
The Wurlitzer 625 and 625T are fully-featured spinet organs released in the 1970s. The models are the same, and the T designation indicates a more elaborate theater-style cabinet.
The 625/625T were part of the Total Tone line, a designation that Wurlitzer used to indicate organs with high-quality, authentic voices suitable for church and popular styles.
A 625/625T brochure advertised the 625/625T as “an organ you won’t outgrow”:
It’s the organ for you, if you’re a leisure-time player who wants more to explore for greater pleasure and relaxation. […] Wurlitzer 625/625T is for you, too, if you’re an experienced player who wants the full measure in quality of sound, performance and achievement. This is the ultimate in spinet organs.
