Before Wurlitzer began manufacturing organs in Corinth, it manufactured phonographs, theater organs, and carousels in North Tonawanda, NY. It appears that some early electronic organs, such as the keyed reed organs, were also initially manufactured in North Tonawanda. Electronic organ production moved to Corinth when the factory opened in 1956, but the details of the switch are unclear.

The archive contains engineering drawings on North Tonawanda templates which depict parts for phonographs. Because the accompanying Parts History record and Quality Department pages are on Corinth letterhead, it appears that the parts were purchased for and used in the Corinth factory. Many of the below parts are fairly generic electronic parts, and they could have been used in organs containing electronic assemblies that were borrowed from earlier phonograph designs.
