Wurlitzer 140A
The Wurlitzer 140A electronic pianos is very similar to the 140 and share all the same innovations except for the changes made to the reeds. Though the dual harp design is responsible for the sustain of the notes, small changes were made to the reed shape.
The 140A uses the same amplifier as the 140. During the 140/140A time period there were reed screws which were more prone to cracking. 140 models and 140A models may be found with broken reed screws, but this issue was addressed in 140B models.
